I would have to say definitely:
1. Eat an exclusively organic diet, and
2. Know which herbs/herbal remedies are good/not harmful to take during pregnacy
With a newborn very important to take care of yourself, taking baths, going for walks and proper nutrition helps you to be a calm and relaxed person… which in turn leads to a happy, calm and relaxed baby and mom.
For me it is eating better foods, more frequently during the day! No more skipping meals/snacks, removed processed foods and we signed up for a weekly home delivery of fresh organic produce this winter…this way I don’t have to venture out with a toddler and huge belly to access good food. Nothing like having organic mango & pink lady apples delivered to your door in -45 🙂
My recommendation is trust your body. If you’re tired, take a nap while your baby’s napping.
